Who we are
Awakening Collaborative Wisdom
Learning Communities Network (LCN) is founded by Siobhan Riordan. At LCN, she brings together a team of dedicated academic, vocational and creative educators to support delivery of Learning Communities. A Learning Community is a group of people connected by common ambition or interest, who learn and discover together. Learning communities connect people, organizations, and systems that are eager to learn and work across boundaries, hierarchies and geographies in pursuit of a shared goal. Siobhan has been using the model since the mid-1990s and is one of the leading experts in the UK.
