Three questions with Greta:
A turning point in your life?
A turning point in my life was when I was in my early twenties and I pondered the question, “Why is our humanity so divided? Isn’t it obvious that we are all sharing a core human experience?” This question has led me over a dozen countries, serving in numerous organizations, of all sorts of cultures and spiritual orientations. With the help of the Bahá’í teachings, which I discovered along my way in this quest, I continue to seek opportunities to bring people together, regardless of social-strata. I long to co-create shared experiences that bring us back together into our common reality, the reality of being alive, of being a Being, part of a Divine ecosystem of loving and being loved.
My hope in this lifetime is that I’ll see a cultural shift take place in new forms, a shift that I think may be led by a great variety of people. Such as, the youth of today, those close to their indigenous roots, and any soul that has done the inner-work to break down the stories that have kept us in fear. Through alchemizing the gifts of the Divine Feminine and the Divine Masculine, and by inviting each person into a new story unfolding, and by collectively taking action to serve each other and the planet we share, may this cultural shift of unity in action, become the way we live, work, breathe, and love. It is such a joy to be a part of the Learning Communities Network and to be hosting this unique event that is bound to get us all thinking, and opening our hearts and minds to new possibilities.
Why are you learning to be a Learning Community facilitator?
At this stage in your life, is there a representation of the divine feminine which is meaningful to you?
