Three questions with Linda:
An act of kindness that you will always remember?
When I was in first grade, I had a friend who had a pack of gum. She began offering gum to her friends and others swarmed her for a piece. She gave all her gum away without saving a piece for herself. I was shocked and asked why she didn’t save one for herself. She replied “It’s just gum”. My mind expanded at that moment with the understanding that material things will pass, yet the opportunity to bring others joy could include you sacrificing the pleasure of the material world for a deeper pleasure in the spiritual world.
Why are you learning to be a Learning Community facilitator?
In my work, I seek to facilitate groups of individuals and could use a solid educational foundation for it.
At this stage in your life, is there a representation of the divine feminine which is meaningful to you?
Currently, I have been studying a little of the historical females that we barely learn about. How they held steadfast to their truth and miracles happened around them to show the world what standing in your truth looks like. Most of them had to rebel against society and the norms of their time, they were misunderstood even by their parents and I feel deeply akin to that story line.
